Job Description
We are i85media, a small but successful web development company headquartered in Atlanta, GA. During our first year we experienced explosive revenue growth of 695% in our automotive sector and 2011 is off to a great start.
We’re looking for a web developer with experience in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and Javascript (we use CodeIgniter and jQuery, so if you’re familiar with them specifically, that’s a plus). You should know how to create a website from start to finish, and be comfortable collaborating with graphic designers to create top-notch experiences on the web.
You’ll work on a variety of projects, including developing new web applications, improving existing web applications, and working on client websites. We’re a small company, so expect to do a bit of everything.
Location
Atlanta, GA (West Midtown) — You’ll work from Strongbox West, a co-working space west of Midtown in Atlanta. It’s conducive to both concentration and collaboration. Plus, it’s a great place to meet other people in the Atlanta technology community. You’ll have the flexibility to work from home occasionally, but plan to be at Strongbox West most days.
Qualifications:
- 2+ Years of PHP development experience
- PHP framework experience (we use CodeIgniter)
- Readable, well-written code for a collaborative environment
- Knowledge of MySQL and database design
- JavaScript/jQuery experience
- Standards-compliant HTML/CSS
Other skills that would be helpful, but are not required:
- Experience with version control (we use SVN)
- Basic knowledge of SEO practices
